Bankgirot’s management will be gaining an addition when Jonas Gavelin takes office as the Chief Information Officer on 1 January 2020.
Since 2018, Jonas has held various management positions in Bankgirot’s IT operations, most recently as the Head of Service Design. His CV reflects his long experience of both programme management and senior management positions, mainly from Swedbank.

Jonas Gavelin is succeeding Mikael Larsson, who has been serving as the acting CIO. Mikael is continuing in Bankgirot’s management to support the CEO and the management team as the Head of CEO Office.
Permanent managers for Risk & Security and Compliance
Also new from 1 January 2020 is that Anders Altenburg, Head of Risk and Security, and Erik Kjellberg, Head of Compliance, are becoming the permanent managers in their roles. In 2019, they served in an acting capacity, but will now permanently succeed Mathilda Stjernberg and Annette Hult, respectively, who are moving on to P27.
